ORBIT
ORBIT / help

A few things before you play.

ORBIT is a free desktop browser arcade by Big Prrr. Start with any of the six games, then use its How to play control for detailed instructions.

What you need

A recent desktop browser, a keyboard, and a mouse. The website adapts to small screens, but the games in this beta are designed for desktop controls. Mobile gameplay is not promised.

Local players and saves

Settings lets you manage local players and export or restore an ORBIT backup. This beta stores its records separately from the original offline collection. Export a backup from the original if you want to transfer compatible records.

Progress belongs to this browser and website address. Private browsing, clearing site data, switching devices, or moving to another domain can remove access to it. Keep an exported backup somewhere you control.

Playing offline

Connect for the first visit and let the website finish loading. A service worker then stores the website and six-game arcade on this device. After that first successful preparation, you can reopen the same website without a connection while its stored copy remains available.

Offline storage is best effort: browsers may remove it to reclaim space, and private browsing can restrict it. If the first preparation fails, reconnect and reload. Hosted sign-in requirements may also affect whether the cached copy can be reopened.

Updating safely

If an update is available, ORBIT shows a notice. Save your game before choosing Update. Updates do not intentionally clear your local players or records.

Sound and focus

Sound begins only after you interact. Use the sound button to mute, and Settings to change volume and motion. Escape pauses supported games.
